First of all, I want to thank you for visiting my website.

My love, passion, and fascination for fashion served as the foundation for MyStyle Buddy. Growing up my mum worked in the textile industry, and my Dad, who worked in high-street logistics, frequently took me to sample sales, seeing lots of fabrics, different styles of clothing and handbags would really spark excitement in me!

Sadly, when I was younger, I had little influence over my sense of fashion. Isn’t that true for the majority of us? This required layering dresses over sweaters, wearing big coats, and donning sandals with socks! But I took control in my late teens, and while it took me a while to develop my own personal sense of style but I got there!

In my early twenties I started working for Next and this is when the real spark and passion ignited for style! I had access to the staff shop and it was just an array of beautiful clothes, colours, shoes & accessories I feel in love! This is where I really got a chance to experiment with clothes and really show my creativity!

Fast forward to late 2019 just before the pandemic, I launched MyStyle Buddy while still working full time in my IT Job. I joined Image Consulting Company where I trained in Colours and Body shapes. And in 2021 I left my full time career in IT that I built up over 16 years to focus on MyStyle Buddy!

The reason why I have created my business is that I wanted to help women feel good about themselves, empower them, and be the best version of themselves through style. For me, every time I put on a flattering, well-fitted outfit, I get a boost in confidence. It has a huge impact on my mindset and how I handle the day.

Funnily enough, clothes is so much more than just something to cover our bodies with, if we wear the right clothes for our body shapes it has such a positive effect on our mood, motivation, confidence, and how we interact with others.
